Ingredients:
- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- Red food coloring optional
- Cupcake liners
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 350 F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin
Put the eggs, vegetable oil, water, and red velvet cake mix in a bowl
Mix everything together well
If the cream cheese is soft, beat it in a different bowl until it is smooth
Sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract should be added
Mix until its smooth
Almost half way up the sides of each cupcake tin should be full of red velvet cake batter
Place a small amount of the cheesecake mix on top of the cake batter in each liner
You can make the cheesecake look marbled by adding a few drops of red food coloring and mixing them in
After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean
For a few minutes, let the cupcakes cool in the muffin tin
Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely
Once the cupcakes are cool, you can decorate them with cream cheese frosting or powdered sugar, if you want to
