Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons strong espresso
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
- Chopped dark chocolate and coffee beans for garnish optional
Instructions:
Halve the avocados, remove the pit, and transfer the flesh to a food processor or blender
To the blender, add the strong espresso, pure maple syrup, vanilla extract, raw cacao powder, and a small pinch of sea salt
Mix all the ingredients in a blender until the mixture resembles a smooth, creamy mousse
Once youve tasted the mixture, you can add more espresso or maple syrup to suit your taste in sweetness or coffee flavor
Pour the mousse into serving bowls or glasses once its perfectly balanced
To help the mousse set and chill, place it in the refrigerator for at least half an hour
For added texture and taste, top each serving with a few coffee beans and chopped dark chocolate optional
